Oil Minister opens project to upgrade gas isolation plant in Abu Gharb field
With a capacity of 100,000 barrels and a quantity of 20 million standard cubic feet Oil Minister opens gas isolation plant upgrade project in Abu Gharbia field in Maysan province.
The oil minister stressed that the ministry has fulfilled its obligations with international companies despite economic, financial, health and other challenges.
Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismail said at the opening ceremony of the project to upgrade the gas isolation plant in the Abu Gharbia field \ South 1 in Maysan province, saying Iraq is keen to support the work of international companies in Iraq and provide the right environment to implement the ministry's plans to increase and sustain national oil and gas production.
Ismail noted that the production capacity of the project is 100,000 barrels per day and more than 20 million standard cubic feet added to the national production of power plants.
For his part, Undersecretary of State for Extraction Karim Hattab stressed the ministry's keenness to implement the plans of sustainability and implement national production from the oil fields and work on the optimal investment of gas associated with oil operations. The ministry has succeeded in implementing a number of projects that contribute to achieving the ministry's goal. He praised the ideal cooperation between the national effort and foreign companies working in the oil fields to achieve common goals.
Maysan Oil Company General Manager Ali Jasim stressed that the company's plans to develop the Fields of Abu Gharb, Al-Faka and Bazerkan should be implemented.
